Founder of Shanghai JayKay Property Management Ltd. Jay has been living in Shanghai for almost 10 years, spending the first few years working as a Management Consultant and Deputy General Manager to a property developer in Shanghai. He is also a Board member of a few companies incorporated in the People's Republic of China.

Before Jay came to Shanghai, he had more than 10 years of business exposure in China through his previous companies. Jay was also a founder member of Diagnostic Biotechnology Pte. Ltd., a company engaged in R&D, manufacturing and marketing of medical diagnostics, and served as its Managing Director from 1984 to 1992. Before the biotechnology business venture, Jay was the former Vice President, Finance & Administration of the Singapore Petroleum Co. Ltd. He had about 17 years of working experience in the petroleum industry and another 6 years of working experience in the construction and investment company before joining the petroleum industry.

Jay has been an active member of the Singapore Club and Shanghai Singapore Business Association (SSBA) since their inceptions. He served as president of the SSBA in the year 2000. Jay is also the founder of the Merlion Club and the internet-based Singapore E-Club, both of which serve as social and information hubs for Singaporeans and Malaysians based in China.
